Cowboy Soup

Layer in the bottom of a crock pot, set on high, butter, salt, pepper, paprika, malt vinegar, and braised stew beef.

Add over this, bite sized cuts of potatoes, carrots, leeks, shallots, and a white onion.

Cover and cook for one hour then add 3 cups boiling hot water and continue to cook for another 3 hours on a lower setting.

Serve with loads of buttered bread.
